Piloting digital connectivity services

We have connected new digital connectivity services for vehicles in several pilot cities and developed a standardized rollout concept for a global automotive manufacturer.

Initial situation and objectives

  • As part of the strategy, the development of a digital service platform is planned, which functions as an ecosystem for various mobility services
  • The objective is to inspire the dealers for the new services, to create the necessary conditions in the company and to continuously build up the relevant knowledge and processes in retail

Approach

  • Connection of several pilot cities to the new, digital services about connectivity of vehicles
  • Operational implementation of a beta launch with regards to customer management and dealer suppor
  • Development of a standardized rollout concept for the nationwide, nationwide connection of new dealers

Results

  • There are seven pilot cities throughout Germany, a comprehensive rollout in Germany and a pilot planned in two other European cities
  • Final handover of the dealer support to the Rollout Manager as well as to the line has taken place
