Starting position and objective
- A leading German cable operator asked HPP for support in the initial introduction of digital program packages to the German cable network
Approach
- In the first step, HPP carried out a potential analysis and profitability calculation
- Afterwards, the final program packages and the respective content mix were defined per program package
- On behalf of our customer, the consulting team negotiated with content providers and, in this context, examined the technical feasibility of the program feed
- In close collaboration with the customer, pricing and communication strategies for market introduction and operational processes were developed for example a logistics process for a successful marketing
- In addition, negotiations with cooperation partners were conducted to increase market penetration aftermarket launch
Results
- Our customer successfully introduced the digital cable connection as the first cable network operator into the German cable network
