As project manager, we supported the expansion of the dealer network of a cable network operator so that six new retail shops could be completed on schedule.
Staring position and objective
- To strengthen the brand presence and improve the sales infrastructure, the dealer network is to be expanded with further retail shops
- In order to ensure on-time completion and the expansion of the new shops in accordance with the specifications, the deployment of a project manager is required
Approach
- A detailed project plan was drawn up and the communication between the participating business units, agencies, interior finishing companies and shop owners was coordinated in order to be able to expedite the expansion on time
- The progress of the project was also tracked by inspecting the object on-site and by carrying out the corresponding progress controlling with any required budget adjustments
Results
- During the project period, six new retail shops were completed on schedule, in compliance with the specified standards
- The close cooperation between the departments involved and the responsible agencies and interior finishing companies contributed significantly to the success
